February has come to an end and it’s time for the Monthly Round Up! I love seeing what folks are creating from my patterns/ideas.
If you’d like your neighborhood featured you can email it to me – email@example.com and/OR you can join my new facebook group – Quilt and Dream Along with Kim Lapacek and share it there! Be sure to let me know if I have permission to share it (giving you credit of course)!
PS. If you’re quilt doesn’t make it in this months round up just send it again! I am still working on a system to keep this all organized!
Let’s take a peek at some versions of the Dresden Neighborhood …
Brita Rundgren – teaches Dresden Neighborhood Quilt in classes in Norway (requires students purchase a pattern first)
Jean Marie made a Dresden Neighborhood for the Project QUILTING “Brighter the better” challenge.
Marcia Wachuta took the Dresden Neighborhood a whole new direction! LOVE it! Read more about it on her blog HERE.
This version was created by Mary Lou Stronach – a good friend of mine and my families. There is more of a story behind this quilt but I’m going to let Mary Lou share that when she’s ready.
She took the idea and soared with it! I adore the kite she made! And the little girl she gifted it to was over the moon – which makes it even better!
All of these projects are just fantastic! Thanks for sharing them with us everyone!
